In a unique event, over 70 motorcycle enthusiasts were invited for a tour at the Military Air Base No. 20, located at Tulum International Airport. The invitation was extended by the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena), through the Air Force, in an effort to foster social cohesion and camaraderie among the biking community.

The bikers, hailing from Tulum, Playa del Carmen, and Cancún, were warmly greeted by Wing General Aviator Pilot Cuauhtémoc Delgado Monteagudo, commander of the air base. The journey began at the airport complex entrance, with Sedena units and the National Guard accompanying the bikers.

The first stop was the main entrance of the boarding room, where a group photo was taken. They then moved on to the Air EDN 304 Squadron. Here, they were treated to a meal, a display of military missions and equipment, and a moment of silence in tribute to fallen comrades.

Wing General Delgado Monteagudo expressed his appreciation to the members of the Coyotes group, the first to participate in the event. He emphasized that such activities aim to build bonds within the biker community and promote social cohesion.

Enrique Sada Chelala, president of the Coyotes Club, echoed these sentiments. He noted that these gatherings help to break down prejudices and fears towards authorities. He praised the authorities for their dedication to creating a better country.

Jorge, a member of another participating biker group, lauded the organization and coordination of the event. He also commended the armed forces for their openness towards the motorcyclists and their families.

The event concluded with showcase rides and a traditional water spray welcome, typically reserved for airplanes.
