Despite Mexico’s World Cup Loss, Xcaret Parks Offer 50% Discount to Registered Fans

Entrance to Xcaret park in Riviera Maya with promotional signage for World Cup discount

Cancún, Quintana Roo — Despite Mexico’s early exit from the 2026 World Cup, Grupo Xcaret announced it will honor a 50% discount on park entry for fans who registered for its World Cup social media promotion.

The Mexican company announced the special benefit on July 5, 2026, to recognize the support of fans for the national team.

The original initiative offered 150,000 free tickets if Mexico reached the quarterfinals. Although the team’s loss canceled that goal, the company decided to reward participants who registered on time through its digital platforms.

Luis Carlos Velázquez, corporate marketing director at Grupo Xcaret, said the company wanted to “recognize the excitement, hope, and unity that this moment sparked among millions of Mexicans.”

Participating Parks

Registered users can apply the discount to one of the following six parks in the Riviera Maya and Cancún:

  • Xcaret Park
  • Xel-Há
  • Xplor and Xplor Fuego
  • Xenses
  • Xoximilco

Discount Validity

The discount period runs from July 8, 2026, to July 31, 2027, subject to availability and restrictions for special events. Residents of Quintana Roo with official proof of residency will receive a higher discount percentage.

How to Redeem the Discount

Tickets will not be redeemed at park ticket booths. The company will notify beneficiaries directly to control access. The reservation process is as follows:

  • Check inbox: Organizers will contact users via email starting July 6.
  • Follow instructions: The email will include specific steps to validate the registration.
  • Phone contact: Customers must call the phone center indicated in the email to schedule their visit date.
