Tulum, Quintana Roo — A public complaint of sexual harassment against a gynecologist at the IMSS Bienestar clinic in Tulum has sparked concern after a woman detailed the alleged incident on social media, claiming the doctor made sexual advances during a consultation and later sent inappropriate messages.

The complainant identified the physician as Luis Antonio Meneses Tamayo and said the harassment occurred inside the medical facility. According to her account, when she asked him to stop, the doctor allegedly replied that “nothing will happen to him,” implying he had connections within the institution.

The accusation also names Dr. Yessica Alejandro Alejandro and administrator Sebastián Torruco, suggesting possible internal protection from management. Health authorities have not issued an official statement regarding the allegations.

The case has raised alarm because it involves a gynecology unit, a space where female patients expect trust, safety, and respect during clinical procedures.

The complainant is demanding a thorough investigation to determine if there are prior complaints, institutional omissions, or administrative responsibility within the medical unit. Until an official resolution is reached, the allegations remain a public complaint that must be clarified by the appropriate authorities.
