Bacalar, Quintana Roo — Investigative police assigned to the State Prosecutor’s Office arrested four men in the act on suspicion of drug dealing, seizing narcotics, weapons, tactical equipment and cell phones during an operation in the Benito Juárez neighborhood.
The suspects were identified as Bryan Kevin “N”, José Julián “N”, Alfredo Guadalupe “N” and Carlos Geovanny “N”. Officers said they saw the men handling bags containing substances with characteristics consistent with drugs.
The arrests occurred on Avenida 25, between calles 26 and 26 Bis. During a search, officers found multiple pieces of evidence, including:
- Doses of dry green plant material resembling marijuana.
- White powder resembling cocaine.
- Cell phones.
- Tactical gear.
- Cartridges.
- Other items linked to the investigation.
The four men and the seized evidence were turned over to the Public Prosecutor’s Office. A judge will determine their legal status within the constitutional time frame. The State Prosecutor’s Office said the men are considered probable suspects while judicial authorities rule on the case.
