Cachirula to Perform Free Concert at Playa del Carmen Fair 2026

Cachirula on stage at the Feria del Carmen in Playa del Carmen

Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — Reggaeton artist Cachirula will headline a free concert at the Feria del Carmen on July 14, as part of the annual fair honoring the town’s patron saint, the Virgen del Carmen.

The concert, which also features Loojan, is scheduled for 9 p.m. at the Recinto Ferial located on Avenida CTM at Calle 75 Norte, two blocks from Plaza Las Américas toward the federal highway. Gates open at 5 p.m., allowing attendees to secure spots near the stage and enjoy food, activities, and other amenities organized by the Solidaridad municipal government.

Cachirula, born Karla Julieta Sánchez García in Mexico City, is a 26-year-old DJ, producer, and singer. She began her career at age 16, editing songs in her bedroom using basic apps and uploading them to SoundCloud. At 18, she started DJing at parties and launched the “Guaracha Mexicana” movement, blending urban rhythms with Colombian guaracha. During the pandemic, she went viral on social media alongside her boyfriend Loojan, a music producer. The duo has since performed at Coca Cola Flow Fest and Coachella 2026.

The Feria del Carmen runs from July 10 to 16 and includes free rides, food stalls, ballet performances, local orchestras, and other free concerts.
