Isla Mujeres to Host Mascot Race at Playa Centro on Saturday

Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo — The municipal government of Isla Mujeres has invited families, local businesses, institutions and residents to take part in a mascot race scheduled for Saturday afternoon at Playa Centro.

The event, organized by the administration of Mayor Atenea Gómez Ricalde, is set to begin at 5 p.m. on Aug. 22. Organizers said the race is designed to encourage community participation and showcase the creativity of participating groups, including commercial, institutional and civic organizations.

Registration is open through WhatsApp at 998 106 0289. Organizers asked interested participants to complete the registration process in advance so race organizers can coordinate the groups taking part in the event.
