Two Colombian nationals detained by police in Quintana Roo for vehicle theft and drug possession

Quintana Roo, Mexico — Two Colombian nationals were arrested in separate incidents in Quintana Roo on charges of vehicle theft and drug possession, authorities said.

In the first case, Nicolle “N,” 23, was detained after being caught in possession of a stolen motorcycle. The vehicle, an Italika 125 in blue, black, and white, had been reported stolen minutes earlier. Police located the motorcycle and arrested the woman red-handed.

In a separate operation, Juan Carlos “N,” 56, also Colombian, was arrested during routine patrols after being found in possession of more than 56 doses of narcotics, including marijuana, tussi, and ketamine.

Both suspects were handed over to ministerial authorities, who will determine their legal status in the coming hours.
