Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — The municipal government of Playa del Carmen has announced the third distribution of food aid under the “Playa Llena, Corazón Contento” program for residents of Puerto Aventuras. The distribution will take place from July 6 to 8, 2026, at the Puerto Aventuras Community Development Center (CDC).

The program, run by the Secretariat of Social Justice and Citizen Participation, aims to support vulnerable families by providing basic food baskets, helping to reduce household expenses.

Authorities emphasized that only registered beneficiaries may collect the aid in person. The distribution will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

Required Documents

Beneficiaries must present the following documents:

  • Valid official ID (INE) – original and copy
  • Recent proof of address (within two months) – copy
  • Updated CURP (Unique Population Registry Code) – copy

Officials recommend having all documents ready to speed up the validation process.

Location

The distribution point is the Puerto Aventuras CDC, located on Guaya Street between Chechén and Caracolillo streets in the Puerto Aventuras delegation.

The program is part of the city’s strategy to strengthen food security for economically vulnerable households. The municipal government urged beneficiaries to attend only on the scheduled dates and comply with requirements to receive their aid.
