Tulum, Quintana Roo — The Quintana Roo Mobility Institute (IMOVEQROO) will send mobile caravans to two communities in Tulum on May 21 and 22 to process driver’s licenses, officials announced.
The mobile units will visit Kumal on May 21 and Cobá on May 22, operating from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. both days. The service is part of an ongoing effort to make essential paperwork more accessible to residents who face transportation costs and time constraints when traveling to permanent IMOVEQROO offices.
Applicants must bring printed copies of required documents. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Payment is accepted by card only; no cash will be processed for security reasons.
License fees range from 600 to over 1,000 Mexican pesos, depending on the type of license. A full list of required documents is available on the IMOVEQROO website.
