Tulum, Quintana Roo — A coordinated operation between municipal police, state prosecutors, and the Mexican army led to the arrest of four men and the seizure of more than 261 doses of suspected narcotics in Tulum, authorities said.
The arrests resulted from patrols and prevention efforts conducted at various points in the city to bolster public safety, officials reported.
Those detained were identified as Gerardo Iván N., 26; Bryan N., 25; Óscar Yael N., 24; and José Joel N., 20, a Honduran national.
During the intervention, officers found the suspects in possession of over 261 doses of substances with characteristics of narcotics and drugs.
The four men and the seized substances were handed over to the State Prosecutor’s Office, which will conduct the corresponding investigations and determine the legal status of those involved in the coming hours.
