Youth Golf Tour Finals Set for Sunday at El Tinto in Cancun

Cancun, Quintana Roo — The 9th Youth Golf Tour will hold its grand finale this Sunday, July 5, at the El Tinto course in Cancun, where the sixth and final stage of the circuit will determine the season champions for 2026.

Play begins at 7:30 a.m., bringing together the state’s top young talent for a decisive round that will finalize the overall rankings.

Throughout the season, the tour visited some of Quintana Roo’s most prominent courses, including stops at Puerto Aventuras, Vidanta Riviera Maya, Iberostar Cancun, and PGA Riviera Maya, establishing itself as a key development platform for junior golf in the region.

Competitors have accumulated points at each event, setting the stage for a tight title race.

Ranking Leaders

In the boys’ 16-18 category, Ivo Larios leads with 855 points. Diego Castillo tops the 14-15 division with 517.75 points, while Hector Garcia leads the 12-13 age group with 713.3 points.

Other boys’ category leaders include:

  • Patricio Manzano (10-11 years)
  • Patricio Curioca (8-9 years)
  • Marco Polo Carballo (7 years and under)

In the girls’ division, Carla Violeta Morales leads the 16-18 category with 765 points. Other leaders are:

  • Maria Isabel Pacheco (14-15 years)
  • Maria Martin (12-13 years)
  • Emma Leal (10-11 years)
  • Emilia Mora (8-9 years)

The final round promises intense competition down to the 18th hole, with every stroke crucial to crowning the champions of the ninth edition of the Youth Golf Tour.
