Playa del Carmen to Host 18th Municipal Job Fair Featuring 350+ Vacancies

Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — The municipal government will host the 18th Municipal Employment and Labor Services Fair on Tuesday, Aug. 18, offering more than 350 job vacancies across multiple sectors to local job seekers.

The event, organized by the city’s Directorate of Labor and Employment Promotion, will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Domo hall in the La Guadalupana neighborhood, at the corner of Brasil Street and Bolivia Avenue.

Estefanía Hernández, secretary of economic development and investment attraction, said the fair is part of the municipal government’s efforts to bring formal employment closer to residents, connect companies with workers, and strengthen the local economy.

Employers participating in this edition include Devossion, Grand Palladium, Holbox Gas, Go Mart, Tomza, Barceló, Hacienda Tres Ríos, the Mexican Air Force, the Public Safety Secretariat, and Franz y Asociados, among others.

Alongside the job openings, attendees can also take advantage of services such as criminal background checks through the State Prosecutor’s Office, Civil Registry procedures, medical certificates from the Municipal DIF health services, vaccines from the Ministry of Health, and assistance from the recruitment board.
