Tulum Installs Tourist Information Kiosks at Archaeological Zone

Tourist information kiosks installed at the Tulum archaeological zone to help visitors with directions and services

Tulum, Quintana Roo — The Tulum city government has installed information kiosks at the archaeological zone to help visitors navigate one of the region’s busiest tourist destinations, providing details on free public beach access and other services.

During an inspection tour, Mayor Diego Castañón Trejo said the kiosks are designed to offer clear, accessible information to both domestic and international tourists exploring the area. The mayor noted that the kiosks will primarily assist those seeking free entry to public beaches and help improve organization in the tourist zone.

Hayde Hernández, director general of tourism, said staff at the kiosks will provide direct assistance to visitors, answering questions and offering accurate information about access points and available services.

Sergio Canto, director general of inspection, added that authorities are simultaneously working to regulate kiosks that were operating illegally in the area, aiming to improve the urban landscape and maintain order at the tourist site.
