Playa del Carmen — The coordinator of the Green Party in Playa del Carmen, Fernando Muñoz Calero, and councilwoman Anaiza Quian are strengthening their presence in Puerto Aventuras through direct citizen attention actions, as part of their commitment to close and socially just management.
During a work visit, both officials surprised neighbor Rosa María Mena, whom they recognized for her work as a mother and her contribution to the community. Muñoz Calero highlighted that this type of encounter is central to understanding the real needs of the people.
The councilman affirmed that the work they carry out is supported by the principles of the Green Party and the vision of the municipal government led by Mayor Estefanía Mercado, who—he said—has demonstrated a tangible commitment to Puerto Aventuras through public works, social investment, and urban improvement.
“Social justice has already arrived at the city hall, and Puerto Aventuras is experiencing it with results. We come to listen, to resolve, and to walk alongside the citizens,” expressed Muñoz Calero.
As part of the accompaniment strategy, he announced that in the coming months they will open a Green Party management house, a space intended to provide permanent attention, channel requests, and reinforce the link between citizens and authorities.
Muñoz emphasized that the families of Puerto Aventuras were abandoned for years by governments that prioritized areas with greater electoral profitability. Therefore, he insisted that now the focus is on balancing attention and raising the quality of life for everyone.
“We are consolidating a close, sensitive, and results-focused management. The transformation must be felt in the territory, in the homes, and in the daily life of the people,” he added.
With these actions, the officials seek to strengthen community work and advance in the construction of a more just, prosperous, and participatory Puerto Aventuras.
