Puerto Aventuras, Quintana Roo — Mayor Estefania Mercado inaugurated the Youth Liaison Office in Puerto Aventuras on Saturday, aiming to provide young residents with tools, training, and support for personal, academic, and professional development.
The new facility will offer English classes, psychological counseling, academic tutoring, and the Empréndete Puerto Aventuras program, along with workshops on entrepreneurship, leadership, and youth empowerment.
“Investing in youth means betting on the future of Puerto Aventuras and Playa del Carmen,” Mercado said during the opening ceremony. She was joined by Councilwoman Matilde Carrillo and Gabriel Pérez Álvarez, director of the Youth Institute.
The office is part of the municipal government’s effort to strengthen ties with young people and expand opportunities for their active participation in community life.
