Cancún’s New MOBI Route to Playa Delfines Will Be Free Nov. 2–9

Cancún, Quintana Roo — A new public transit route linking northern Cancún with Playa Delfines will operate free of charge from Nov. 2 to 9 during its first week of service, officials announced.

The Villas del Mar 3–Puente Nichupté–Playa Delfines route is part of the state’s MOBI system, formally known as Movilidad del Bienestar Quintanarroense. It is designed to connect residential areas in the north of the city with shopping centers, hospitals, schools and attractions along the hotel zone, using the Nichupté Bridge to reach Kukulcán Boulevard and Playa Delfines.

According to information released about the service, the route will benefit more than 86,000 residents across 128 neighborhoods in the municipality of Benito Juárez.

Daily service from 4 a.m. to 2:15 a.m.

The route will run every day from 4 a.m. to 2:15 a.m., with the last departure from the residential terminal scheduled for 1 a.m. Service from the Westing Regina area will also continue until 1 a.m.

Riders are advised to check official MOBI and IMOVEQROO channels to confirm frequencies, stops and schedules in each direction.
