Cancún, Quintana Roo — The Association of Public Relations of the Mexican Caribbean (ARPCM) has announced its participation in the Mexican Red Cross National Collection, as the organization approaches its 43rd anniversary.
The group, which brings together more than 80 public and private sector specialists, presented a balance of its social impact and humanitarian actions carried out between the second half of 2025 and early 2026.
ARPCM President Addy Gamboa said the association will not limit its support to traditional street collection drives. This year, the group will leverage its influence in the private sector to coordinate the distribution of donation jars at major companies and allied institutions in Cancún, aiming to boost fundraising for the Red Cross.
Over the past year, the ARPCM has diversified its partnerships with key foundations such as Ciudad de la Alegría, Rotary Clubs, and the DIF system. Among the reported results are the shipment of more than a hundred food packages, bottled water, and clothing to disaster zones, as well as sponsorship of charity sports tournaments benefiting the Anthus A.C. Foundation, which focuses on raising awareness and preventing human trafficking in the state.
“As a guild, we have a responsibility that goes beyond our brands: we are generators of conversation, trust, and positive impact,” Gamboa said, looking ahead to the association’s founding anniversary in July.
