IMOVEQROO Opens New Driver’s License Office in Playa del Carmen

Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — The Quintana Roo Mobility Institute (IMOVEQROO) opened a new driver’s license office in Playa del Carmen on Monday, relocating to a larger facility aimed at providing faster and more efficient service to residents.

The new office is located at Avenida La Salle, corner with Avenida Hipocampo. It will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

At the new facility, residents can apply for first-time licenses, renewals, and replacements for automobile, motorcycle, and public service driver’s licenses, according to IMOVEQROO guidelines.

The relocation is part of efforts to improve public services under the state’s New Agreement for the Well-being and Development of Quintana Roo. The new office can serve more people simultaneously, reducing wait times and streamlining the process. Staff are available to guide applicants through requirements, payments, and appointment scheduling.

For more information, residents can visit the IMOVEQROO website at www.imoveqroo.qroo.gob.mx/informacion-de-licencias/ or check the institute’s official social media channels.
