Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — Starting Monday, June 29, mobile health caravans will offer free medical services in communities across the municipalities of Playa del Carmen, Bacalar, and Felipe Carrillo Puerto, including at the state prison (Cereso).

Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa encouraged residents to take advantage of the free services provided through the “Salud para Tod@s” (Health for All) mobile program, which aims to bring preventive and specialized medical care to underserved areas.

The mobile units will operate from June 29 to July 3 at the following locations:

  • Playa del Carmen (Puerto Aventuras)
  • Cereso (state prison)
  • Felipe Carrillo Puerto (Presidente Juárez)
  • Felipe Carrillo Puerto (Ramonal)
  • Bacalar (Reforma)

Services include general medical consultations, dental care, psychological support, X-rays, clinical lab tests, vaccinations, and ambulance transport if needed.

To receive care, residents must bring a copy of their voter ID (INE) and their CURP (unique population registry code).

Officials said regular checkups help detect diseases early, complete vaccination schedules, and promote a culture of prevention that benefits families and communities.
