Isla Mujeres Completes First Dance Hall at New Casa de la Cultura

Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo — The new Casa de la Cultura has reached a key milestone with the completion of its first dance hall, one of the main spaces in the upcoming cultural complex.

Mayor Atenea Gómez Ricalde said the project will strengthen the municipality’s cultural infrastructure, providing modern, dignified spaces for children, young people and adults.

The dance hall is designed to host classes, rehearsals and dance activities, and is part of broader efforts to bring cultural offerings closer to island families, officials said during a site visit.

The municipal government described the project as part of its commitment to expanding artistic and cultural opportunities, with facilities that support music, dance, reading and the arts for the entire community.
