Tulum, Quintana Roo — The Quintana Roo State Prosecutor’s Office (FGE) has activated a search alert for Mario Enrique José Díaz, a 30-year-old man last seen on May 28 in the municipality of Tulum. His whereabouts remain unknown.
According to the FGE, a formal missing person report was filed on June 2, 2026, prompting the launch of a search under the Protocolo Alba and the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Missing Persons Investigations. Officials issued a public bulletin asking for citizens’ help.
The FGE described Díaz as a Mexican national with light brown skin, medium build, dark brown eyes, and short, straight black hair. He stands approximately 1.75 meters (5 feet 9 inches) tall and weighs around 85 kilograms (187 pounds). He has no visible distinguishing marks.
Authorities have not released details about the circumstances of his disappearance or what he was wearing when last seen. The FGE urged anyone with information to contact the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Missing Persons Investigations at (998) 881-7150, extension 2130, or via email at the address provided in the official bulletin.
