Cancún, Quintana Roo — A former bodyguard has gone public with allegations that he and his family were victims of an attack, which he claims is linked to years of accusations he has made about an international fraud ring operating through the U.S. stock market.

In a series of social media posts, the man identified as Lenssy Cava said the attack was not an isolated incident but part of a pattern of reprisals stemming from his complaints against a group he accuses of defrauding major tourism and business corporations, including Vidanta, Grupo Sunset, Pueblo Bonito, and Garza Blanca.

Cava alleged that the individuals who targeted him and his family were sent by his former employer, a claim he urged authorities to investigate thoroughly.

He called on the Federal Prosecutor’s Office (FGR), as well as federal officials including Omar García Harfuch and Attorney General Ernestina Godoy, to take up the case. He also requested that international agencies such as Interpol and the FBI become involved, citing the alleged transnational scope of the operations he has denounced.
