Cancun, Quintana Roo — A fraudulent advertisement promoting a Marco Antonio Solís concert in Cancun is circulating on social media, with no backing from the artist’s official channels or recognized promoters.
The image, which began appearing in recent days, claims Solís will perform at Estadio Beto Ávila on October 17 as part of his “Gratitud Tour 2026” and directs ticket sales to the website rdboletos.com. However, a check of the domain’s public registration data shows the site was created only on June 7, 2026.
As of now, Solís has not announced a Cancun show for that date on his official platforms. No confirmation exists from promoters active in Quintana Roo or from established ticket vendors in Mexico.
The incident echoes recent fraud attempts that used the name of singer Julión Álvarez to promote nonexistent performances. Such fake posts have increased in various Mexican cities in recent months, using edited images, newly created websites, and supposed presales to deceive fans of popular artists.
Authorities urge the public to verify concert information through official sources before purchasing tickets to avoid financial losses.
