Tulum, Quintana Roo — The Technological University of Tulum (UT Tulum) has announced a charity race, UT Tulum Vive 2026, scheduled for August 9 to coincide with International Youth Day.

The event aims to promote physical activity, foster community engagement, and raise funds to strengthen the university’s sports academies, which serve its students.

The race is open to the public and features two categories: a 5-kilometer recreational run and a 12-kilometer competitive race.

Registration costs 450 pesos, with proceeds going to support student athletic talent at UT Tulum. Participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt, race number, participation medal, and hydration during the event.

Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in each category. In the 12-kilometer race, first-place winners in both men’s and women’s divisions will receive 3,000 pesos each. In the 5-kilometer recreational run, the top male and female finishers will each receive 2,000 pesos.

Registration can be completed in person at the UT Tulum campus or via bank transfer. For more information or to sign up, interested individuals can contact the university through WhatsApp at 984 310 3064.
