The Tulum municipal government, under the leadership of Diego Castañón, has announced road closures and alterations throughout various parts of the city in preparation for the Zamna festivals. These changes are being implemented to maintain order and ensure road safety during the event.
The left lane of Nacar Avenue, stretching from the Federal Highway to Aldea Tulum, will be closed to all general traffic. The right lane of the same avenue will be open in both directions, but only for private cars and motorcycles.
In addition, the link from the Federal Highway to Esmeralda Avenue in Aldea Tulum will be made available exclusively for public transportation. Another alternative route provided will be Rubí 09 Street, connecting Aldea Tulum with the Cristal Neighborhood and Tulum city center. This will help facilitate mobility during the festival period.
The municipal government is encouraging residents to plan their journeys in advance and adhere to traffic signs to prevent any potential issues.
