Street Vendor Loses Merchandise After Tricycle Overturns on Highway 307

A tricycle lies overturned on the side of Highway 307 near Puerto Aventuras, with scattered merchandise around it.

Puerto Aventuras, Quintana Roo — A street vendor escaped injury but suffered economic losses after his work tricycle overturned on federal Highway 307 near Puerto Aventuras, spilling merchandise across the road.

According to preliminary reports, the vendor was traveling along the highway when a private vehicle allegedly made a maneuver that caused the accident.

The tricycle flipped onto the asphalt, and various products scattered along the roadside. Bystanders and witnesses helped the vendor right his vehicle.

Although the vendor was unharmed, he faced financial losses from damage to his tricycle and loss of part of the merchandise he was carrying.

Witnesses said the driver of the vehicle involved fled the scene. Authorities will determine the exact circumstances of the incident.

The moment was captured on video, showing the overturned tricycle and several people approaching to assist the vendor and assess the damage.

In recent months, various accidents involving cars, motorcycles, public transport, and cargo vehicles have been reported on this highway, some with fatal consequences and severe traffic disruptions.
