Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — Authorities arrested five adults and a minor on drug dealing charges following a search warrant execution in the Villas del Sol neighborhood, officials said.

Investigative police from the State Prosecutor’s Office, working with the Mexican Army, National Guard, and municipal police, carried out the court-ordered search at a home on Fragata Street near CTM Avenue. Inside, officers seized bags containing green, dry plant material resembling marijuana and white solid fragments.

Near the property, officers detained Misael Antonio “N,” Rudy Emanuel “N,” Jair “N,” Emilio Gabriel “N,” and Sherlin “N.” During a search, authorities found them carrying doses of marijuana. A teenage girl was also detained and turned over to the specialized prosecutor’s office for minors.

The five adults were handed over to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, which will determine their legal status within the constitutional timeframe.

After the search, agents sealed the property and placed it under the prosecutor’s custody. The seized evidence will be added to the investigation file.

According to initial inquiries, the suspects are believed to be members of a criminal group involved in drug trafficking and violence in the municipality.
