Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo — Mayor Blanca Merari Tziu on Sunday celebrated the work of local artists whose murals are revitalizing the town’s urban image.

In a social media post, Merari noted that facades and private spaces across the municipality have been transformed with colorful murals that showcase the community’s identity, creativity, and cultural richness.

She said the artworks not only beautify the environment but have also become an attraction for residents and tourists alike, both domestic and international.

The mayor described the artists’ work as a testament to the artistic potential in Puerto Morelos, adding that it strengthens a sense of belonging among locals.
