Playa del Carmen, Mexico — 25 ATMs located in the tourist zone of Playa del Carmen, primarily on Fifth Avenue, were shut down by the Directorate of Fiscalization and Collections for not being regularized.
Julián Lara, head of the department, warned that owners or their representatives have until January 15 to come forward and complete the necessary procedures, otherwise the machines could be removed.
He commented that some representatives have already approached them and are in talks, so this situation could be resolved in the best possible way.
