Kuzá Beach & Adventure Park Launches in Cozumel With $35M Investment

Cozumel, Quintana Roo — KUZÁ Beach & Adventure Park, a new all-in-one recreational destination, was officially launched during the 2026 Tianguis Turístico de México tourism fair. Developed by Miami-based Global Cruises LLC, the park represents a $35 million investment and aims to transform Cozumel’s tourism offerings.

The project was presented by Leyla R. Osorio, CEO of Global Cruises, and Bernardo Cueto Riestra, Quintana Roo’s Secretary of Tourism, who emphasized its importance for the local economy and sustainable tourism.

KUZÁ is the first “All-in-One” concept on the island, combining adventure, dining, and hospitality on 66 hectares that include one kilometer of beach. The park features the island’s largest water park at 15,000 square meters, with four 26-meter-high slides and a 200-meter lazy river. Visitors can also enjoy off-road circuits with state-of-the-art RZR vehicles and four zip-line towers. Three distinct beach zones — Family, Golden VIP, and Aura (adults-only) — are complemented by four restaurants and seven bars.

Sustainability is a core pillar: 91% of the park remains a protected natural reserve, preserving four ecosystems. Electric trams handle internal transport, and conservation programs include “Raíces para el Futuro” for mangrove protection, “Kuzápaal” for environmental education, and wildlife monitoring for sea turtles, birds, and butterflies.

“KUZÁ is not just a park, it’s an experience that connects visitors with the essence of Cozumel, promoting responsible and sustainable tourism,” Osorio said during the launch.

Global Cruises LLC operates in over 140 international ports and serves more than one million passengers annually. The company holds Travelife certification for sustainable practices.

With capacity for up to 7,000 daily visitors, KUZÁ Beach & Adventure Park positions itself as a benchmark for innovation and sustainability in the Mexican Caribbean.
