According to the State Prosecutor’s Office (FGE), the first raid took place at a property in the Villas del Carmen Plus neighborhood in Playa del Carmen. During the operation, a man identified as Abel “N” was arrested near the property. At the time of his detention, he was found in possession of suspected marijuana and a replica handgun.

The second raid was conducted at a home on Avenida Timón in Puerto Morelos, where agents seized marijuana-like plant material and a digital scale.

In the same municipality, a third operation took place at a property in the Joaquín Zetina Gasca neighborhood, where a handbag and suspected marijuana were found.

The fourth raid occurred at a home in Cancún’s Supermanzana 200, where authorities located green and dry plant material consistent with marijuana.

Following the searches, all four properties were secured by the Prosecutor’s Office. The drugs and other evidence were handed over to the Public Ministry. Abel “N” remains in custody pending a legal determination of his status within the timeframe established by law.
