Cozumel, Quintana Roo — Authorities have announced the official schedule for the Fut Fest del Caribe Mexicano, a series of free public screenings of 2026 World Cup matches in Cozumel and Isla Mujeres. The initiative aims to bring the tournament experience to residents and tourists in safe, family-friendly settings.
In Cozumel, all screenings will take place at the Explanada de la Bandera. The schedule includes ten matches throughout June, starting with Brazil vs. Morocco on June 13. Other highlights include Argentina vs. Algeria on June 16, England vs. Croatia on June 17, and Mexico vs. South Korea on June 18.
The lineup continues on June 22 with Argentina vs. Austria, followed by a doubleheader on June 24 featuring Brazil vs. Scotland and Mexico vs. Czech Republic. June 25 brings Ecuador vs. Germany, and the festival concludes on June 27 with Colombia vs. Portugal and Argentina vs. Jordan.
In Isla Mujeres, a marathon day of football will be held at Playa Centro starting at 11 a.m. The schedule includes Germany vs. Curaçao at noon, Netherlands vs. Japan, Ivory Coast vs. Ecuador, and Sweden vs. Tunisia in the evening.
Beyond the matches, the Fut Fest aims to promote social gathering, use of public spaces, and economic benefits for local businesses. Organizers recommend attendees wear light clothing, use sunscreen, stay hydrated, and follow instructions from civil protection and municipal authorities.
