Mexico City — President Claudia Sheinbaum will embark on a working tour of Quintana Roo from July 17 to 19, with scheduled stops in Tulum, Playa del Carmen, and Benito Juárez (Cancun), where she will lead meetings and oversee strategic projects for the state’s development.
According to the preliminary agenda, Sheinbaum will begin her visit in Tulum, where she will host the federal government’s morning press conference and hold discussions on urban development, land regularization, and environmental protection.
The tour will continue in Playa del Carmen with activities focused on monitoring priority programs and infrastructure projects promoted by the federal government in coordination with the state of Quintana Roo.
In Cancun, the president is scheduled to inspect key infrastructure projects, including the Nichupté Vehicular Bridge, considered one of the most important mobility projects for the tourist destination. She will also hold evaluation meetings with federal and state authorities.
The presidential visit will take place in coordination with the state government led by Governor Mara Lezama and is part of the follow-up agenda for priority projects and social programs promoted by the federal administration in Quintana Roo.
