The Quintana Roo Attorney General's Office, in partnership with the Yucatán State Attorney General's Office, has executed an arrest warrant for Ernesto Alfonso "N". He is suspected of being involved in the murder of a woman at a hotel in the city.
According to the details of the case, on September 13 of this year, Ernesto Alfonso "N" was in a hotel room with the victim, located on Balamcanché street. An argument ensued while both parties were under the influence of alcohol. It is alleged that during the dispute, Ernesto struck the victim's head with an object and continued the assault until she was unconscious. The victim later died from a cranial trauma. The suspect then fled the scene.
The Public Ministry prosecutors opened an investigation for qualified homicide. With an arrest warrant issued by a Control Judge, the Investigation Police officers, in cooperation with the Yucatán Prosecutor's Office, managed to apprehend Ernesto Alfonso "N".
He was then transferred overland to the Solidaridad Municipality to face the judicial authority.
