Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Quintana Roo – Two minors were transported to the hospital after a traffic accident involving a motorcycle and a car at the intersection of Lázaro Cárdenas Avenue and 75th Street in the Leona Vicario neighborhood of this city.
The incident occurred when the minors were riding a motorcycle and, according to witnesses, a compact car struck them after failing to stop at a mandatory stop sign. Following the impact, both minors were left injured on the pavement; one was bleeding from a head wound, while the other had injuries to various parts of the body.
Red Cross paramedics arrived to provide pre-hospital care and perform the necessary transport. Preliminary reports indicated that the minors had taken the motorcycle without their parents’ permission, and the parents reprimanded them at the scene upon learning of the situation.
Municipal Traffic officers conducted procedures and collected data to determine responsibility for the accident.
