Family searches for Michelle Segovia three years after Tulum disappearance

Tulum, Quintana Roo — Three years have passed since all contact was lost with Michelle Viviana Segovia Andrés, a young woman who resided and worked in the Riviera Maya. According to her family, the last reference about her was in April 2022, when she was in an area of Tulum.

They stated that since that moment, there has been no further communication or confirmed news about her whereabouts.

The lack of conclusive advances in the investigation has prolonged the uncertainty and pain for her relatives, who assured that, despite the passage of time, the case remains open and the search continues active through different institutional and social channels.

Michelle is an only child and, according to her family members, maintained a close relationship with her mother and her circle of friends, so her disappearance represented a total break in the dynamic.

From the first day, her mother undertook a constant search, going to official agencies, requesting the activation of location mechanisms; in addition, she participated in field searches and actions, without so far having obtained accurate information that would clarify what happened.

As part of the data that could facilitate her identification, the family recalled that Michelle has light skin, light brown hair, and has visible tattoos: a dreamcatcher on one of her legs and a scorpion on her left forearm.

Her mother once again requested the support of citizens to share information and report any data that could contribute to the location of her daughter.

She indicated that her only interest is to know what happened and to reunite with her, regardless of the circumstances, emphasizing that the passage of time has not diminished her determination to continue searching for her.

Three years after her disappearance, Michelle’s case remains unresolved. Her family maintains hope and continues requesting that any information be channeled to the corresponding authorities, with the objective of advancing the investigation and obtaining answers that would allow closing a chapter marked by uncertainty and waiting.
