Mexico City, Mexico — Telemundo has confirmed that “La Casa de los Famosos” will return to screens on Tuesday, February 17, with the network revealing the first participants for the reality show’s sixth season.

The U.S. network, which will produce the season in Mexico, announced that this edition will increase tension to the maximum, forcing celebrities to live together with limited resources and under total isolation from society.

The program will activate more than eighty cameras and microphones that will record every movement, word, and whisper of participants around the clock.

Jimena Gállego and Javier Poza will again host the show, solidifying themselves as the official duo responsible for narrating the conflicts and alliances that emerge within the mansion. While Gállego has remained with the project since its origin, Poza returns after his successful participation in the previous special all-stars edition.

Excitement is growing following confirmation of the first names that will join the list of residents, highlighting profiles with massive presence in the media landscape.

Lupita Jones, the first Mexican woman crowned Miss Universe in 1991, returns to the public spotlight to submit her leadership and character to an extreme coexistence test. Her participation represents an important turn in her career, moving away from beauty pageants to face the unfiltered reality of live television.

Joining the former beauty queen is influential content creator Kunno, who commands a community of more than thirty-four million followers on digital platforms. Media analysts anticipate his arrival will inject a high dose of controversy and strategy, given his ability to dominate social media conversation.

Kunno is already preparing his tactics to navigate an environment where privacy disappears completely under international public scrutiny.

Jailyne Ojeda completes this first trio of confirmed participants, bringing a digital reach that exceeds fourteen million followers on Instagram. The model and influencer from California will seek to connect with young audiences while trying to adapt to the strict survival rules imposed by production.

The program is betting on this clash of disparate personalities to guarantee that each week the drama and surprises keep audiences captivated.

Full Participant List

As part of the talent that will define this edition, Telemundo confirmed the participation of Laura Zapata, Caeli, and Yina Calderón. They join Kunno, Lupita Jones, and Jailyne Ojeda.

But many names remain to be revealed, including: Héctor Sandarti, Paco Pizaña, Celine Santos, Eduardo Antonio, Gianmarco Onestini, Matías Ochoa, and Horacio Pancheri, among others.

Among the panelists will be Cristina Porta, Carlos “Caramelo” Cruz, Manelyk González, Sergio Mayer, Samira Jalil, and Anette Cuburu, among others.

Additionally, Maripily Rivera will participate in the program as a guest on the network’s shows to discuss the reality series. Telemundo will also feature Aleska Génesis, though it remains unclear whether she will serve as a panelist during Sunday shows alongside Caramelo and Manelyk, or as host of one of the network’s programs.

Telemundo’s production guarantees that this sixth season will present exhausting physical challenges and mental games that will test the loyalty of groups that form.

With just days until the official launch, preparations on the recording set are advancing rapidly to ensure audio and video technology functions with millimeter precision.
