Six People Charged With Drug Crimes in Benito Juarez
Cancun, Quintana Roo — Six people have been formally charged in separate court hearings for alleged drug-related crimes, including possession and supply of marijuana, in the municipality of Benito Juarez.
The State Prosecutor’s Office identified the defendants as Marcos Antonio “N”, Maria Jennifer “N”, Jose Mario “N”, Victoria “N”, Soledad “N”, and Fredi Manuel “N”. Each faces specific charges related to marijuana possession and distribution.
In one hearing, a control judge ordered the formal processing of Marcos Antonio “N” and Maria Jennifer “N” on charges of supplying marijuana. Jose Mario “N” and Victoria “N” were charged with possession with intent to supply the same substance.
In a separate hearing, Soledad “N” was charged with marijuana possession. Fredi Manuel “N” was also formally processed for possession with intent to supply marijuana.
The rulings came after prosecutors presented evidence in each case, the State Prosecutor’s Office said.
