Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo — Mayor Blanca Merari Tziu Muñoz led a distribution of water tanks, cisterns, biodigesters, and water pumps for families in the municipal seat and the Leona Vicario delegation, as part of a collaboration with the Congregación Mariana Trinitaria.
The program provides subsidized materials to improve water storage and access in homes. “We continue working to support the families who need it most, creating programs and alliances that improve their quality of life and protect their finances,” Merari said.
Officials reported that in the municipal seat, 14 water tanks, three biodigesters, one cistern, and three sludge registers were delivered. In Leona Vicario, 14 water tanks and two water pumps were distributed.
The event was attended by Municipal Welfare Secretary Alexander May Chi and Citizen Participation Director Julián Soto Medina.
