Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo — Grupo Posadas has opened Izla by Fiesta Americana Isla Mujeres, a 122-room hotel with a distinctive curved design overlooking the turquoise waters of the Caribbean.

All rooms and suites feature private balconies with sea views. The property targets couples and travelers seeking rest, wellness, and a sensory connection to the destination.

“At Posadas, we continue evolving our offering to respond to travelers looking for personalized experiences, where luxury lies in authenticity and connection with the destination,” said Enrique Calderón, vice president of Hotel Operations at Posadas. “Izla by Fiesta Americana reflects this vision.”

The hotel’s culinary program showcases Mexican and Caribbean cuisine across three distinct venues. A wellness center includes a spa, gym, and yoga sessions, catering to growing demand for holistic well-being among modern travelers.

Izla by Fiesta Americana also offers spaces for destination weddings and special celebrations in an intimate beachfront setting. Guest rooms blend contemporary design with materials and colors inspired by the island, incorporating local organic amenities.

The opening was announced during the Tianguis Turístico 2026 trade show in Acapulco, where Grupo Posadas revealed plans for several new hotels and resorts across Mexico and key destinations.
