Cancún, Mexico — At a press conference held at the Ego restaurant, it was announced that 100% of the proceeds from the upcoming golf tournament, The King's Cup 2025, will be donated to the construction of the New Cathedral of Cancún. This historic project promises to generate a spiritual, formative, charitable, and cultural impact on the state for hundreds of years.

The event, which seeks to fuse sports with a noble social cause, brought together numerous personalities from the business and tourism sectors. Attendees included José Borales, director of the Cancún Country Club team; Dulce Delgadillo, ambassador for the New Cathedral; Andrea Reyes, Director of International Affairs for the Benito Juárez Secretary of Tourism; Miguel Lemus, representative of Quintana Roo business owners; and Julián Novelo, general director of Hilton Club.

Dulce Delgadillo highlighted the importance of this tournament, stating that it "represents more than a simple sporting event; it is a bridge toward the construction of a spiritual and community heart for Quintana Roo."

The New Cathedral will not only be a place of worship but also a charitable center that will provide medical attention, legal advice, and community services to those most in need, without distinction of faith or origin.

The tournament will be held at the "El Tinto" golf course, designed by Nick Price, and will feature the participation of 120 players distributed across two categories. Various stations and activities will be implemented to enrich the experience of attendees, thanks to the collaboration of sponsors who have shown a firm commitment to this cause.

The representative of the Municipal Secretary of Tourism emphasized that "this type of event reflects the supportive spirit of our community and positions Cancún not only as a beach tourist destination but also as a pillar in social initiatives."

The King's Cup will not only offer sports competitions but also a strategic networking platform for business leaders, all within an elegant and creative atmosphere that seeks to foster high-value relationships.

The event will take place on November 15, 2025, beginning at 8:00 am. In addition to an awards ceremony with recognized trophies and attractive prizes, the tournament will culminate in a gala dinner celebrating the union of the community around this noble cause.

For those interested, individual registration costs $5,500 MXN, with all funds raised destined for the construction of the New Cathedral of Cancún, a legacy that will endure for generations.
