Mexico City — Adventure Travel Mexico (ATMEX) has announced the launch of ATMEX Business, a new strategic line designed to strengthen the nature and adventure tourism ecosystem through partnerships with brands and organizations that provide solutions, benefits, and new development opportunities for its community.
The initiative aims to expand the impact already generated by ATMEX through high-value connections, now incorporating preferential benefits and schemes that allow sector members to access new sources of income, training, and business support.
A Network of Alliances to Strengthen Adventure Tourism
According to the organization, ATMEX Business functions as a platform that integrates companies, operators, and projects linked to adventure tourism, creating a collaborative environment that facilitates sustainable sector growth and professionalizes the tourism offering in Mexico.
As part of this new vertical, ATMEX presented IATI Escapadas, a product created by IATI Seguros, specifically oriented toward domestic travel, tours of Magical Towns, nature experiences, and adventure activities within the country.

The IATI Escapadas insurance offers economic and operational assistance so travelers can explore Mexico with greater peace of mind. Its coverage includes basic medical care, emergency services, and logistical support during stays of up to 21 days within national territory.
Among its main benefits are medical, legal, and travel assistance, home doctor visits, 24-hour telemedicine, hospitalization support, psychological support, convalescence hotel, luggage location, and legal assistance, among other services that allow immediate attention to any unforeseen event.
The policy covers more than 25 adventure sports, from trekking and cycling to moderate mountaineering, diving, and climbing, with the possibility of extending coverage for higher-risk activities through additional supplements.

The design of IATI Escapadas responds to the needs of different types of travelers, from those taking road trips to those seeking nature experiences or outdoor activities. The proposal prioritizes freedom of movement and confidence during each journey, guaranteeing support in case of accidents, illnesses, or unexpected logistical situations.
As an exclusive benefit, ATMEX community members receive a 5 percent discount when contracting their travel assistance, an incentive that forms part of the strategy to strengthen its network of allies and collaborators.
