Cancún, Quintana Roo — Authorities have arrested a man accused of sexually abusing his 10-year-old step-granddaughter at a home in Cancún’s Cielo Nuevo neighborhood.
Officials announced that an arrest warrant was executed against José Alberto “N,” identified as the alleged perpetrator of sexual abuse against the minor.
According to initial reports, the suspect allegedly engaged in inappropriate touching of the child inside a residence in the Cielo Nuevo subdivision, located in the Benito Juárez municipality.
Following a formal complaint and the compilation of an investigation file, police officers carried out the judicial order and detained the accused.
The detainee was handed over to the appropriate authorities, who will determine his legal status in accordance with the law.
