The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. near the CostaMed clinic, just before the Sam’s Club store.
Witnesses reported the cyclist attempted to cross from the central median without caution, entering the roadway. The bus, traveling north at high speed, struck the cyclist despite the driver’s attempt to brake.
Several people in the area called emergency services, prompting authorities to respond and request an ambulance. Private paramedics stabilized the injured person and transported them to a hospital.
Municipal traffic police officers arrived to document the incident and determine responsibility.
