Two Men Arrested in Cancun Drug Bust During Joint Security Operation

Cancun, Quintana Roo — Two men were arrested in Cancun’s Supermanzana 68 neighborhood during a coordinated security operation on drug charges, authorities said.

The arrests occurred as part of Operation Blindaje Cancun, involving officers from the Cancun Police, the State Prosecutor’s Office, the National Guard, the Mexican Army, and the Mexican Navy.

During a search, officers seized 66 small transparent plastic bags containing a green, dry substance resembling marijuana from the suspects.

Raul Enrique N., 43, and Felipe N., 36, were taken into custody and handed over to the appropriate authorities for further investigation and to determine their legal status.
