A shooting occurred at a bar in the Ejido neighborhood, resulting in two fatalities and two injuries. The incident took place at the "Boom Boom" bar, located on 2 Norte Street between Avenues 120 and 125. The shooting prompted a significant police response to the scene.
Initial reports suggest that unidentified individuals entered the bar and opened fire, targeting four individuals. Tragically, two of the targets died at the scene, while the other two were injured. The assailants fled the bar in an unknown direction after the attack.
Preliminary information suggests that the two injured individuals were employees of the bar. They reportedly transported themselves to the hospital, and their current condition is unknown.
In response to the shooting, police have launched an operation to locate the culprits. Unofficial reports suggest that one suspect has been detained.
This incident marks the third fatal shooting in 2025. A similar attack occurred last Saturday in the Nuevo Noh Bec neighborhood, where one person was killed.
