TULUM, Q. Roo — In an atmosphere of camaraderie, Mayor Diego Castañón led a sports event alongside his team of collaborators, reaffirming the value of soccer as a tool for social integration and community well-being.
The activity was carried out within the framework of the municipal government's initiatives to promote healthy lifestyles and strengthen the bonds between public servants and the community.
“Sports help keep us healthy and strengthen teamwork, which is key to continuing to move forward. Beyond the score, what matters is the unity, the discipline, and the motivation that we carry from the field to our responsibilities,” stated Castañón Trejo.
The municipal president, who has experience as a professional soccer player, participated actively in the match, demonstrating that leadership is also built on the field.
These types of encounters are part of a broader strategy to consolidate Tulum as a municipality that bets on sports, health, and community coexistence. Furthermore, it reinforces the local administration's commitment to the integral well-being of Tulum's residents.
