Tulum, Quintana Roo — Organizers of the Tulum Air Show 2026 announced a coordinated transport system for attendees due to limited parking at the event’s venue, the Military Air Base at Tulum International Airport.
During a logistics presentation, authorities explained that the area hosting the activities lacks sufficient space for public or private parking lots. They will implement a mobility scheme based on public transport and authorized concession services.
Colonel Duarte of the Mexican Air Force, a member of the FAMEX committee, said one main gathering point will be the parking lot at the Tulum Maya Train station. From there, attendees can transfer to the railway station at the airport and then board units that will take them inside the air base for the exhibitions.
Organizers also established agreements with the parking lot at the Zamna event venue, which will serve as another departure point for the authorized transport system. Units from that location will shuttle attendees to the airport for a fee set by organizers, described as affordable for the public.
Organizers noted this strategy aims to avoid congestion and delays for visitors, as the event space is designed for aerial operations and displays, not for private vehicles.
The Tulum Air Show 2026 includes various activities over four days, such as specialized conferences, exhibitions, and an aerial show open to the public. For the first two days focused on business activities and aerospace sector meetings, organizers expect around 3,000 attendees, including entrepreneurs, specialists, and aviation enthusiasts.
Currently, about 70 exhibition spaces have been allocated for companies, educational institutions, and government representatives related to the sector, enabling participation from various aviation and aerospace stakeholders.
Beyond specialized audiences, the invitation remains open to general visitors, including students, families, and aviation fans, who can attend aircraft displays, view models up close, and participate in scheduled event activities.
