The Cure and Guns N’ Roses Tribute Bands to Rock Cancun’s Route 666 Bikers Bar

Route 666 Bikers Bar in Cancun hosting tribute concerts to The Cure and Guns N' Roses

Cancun, Quintana Roo — Rock fans in Cancun are in for a treat as Route 666 Bikers Bar hosts a weekend of tribute concerts honoring two of the most influential bands in rock history: The Cure and Guns N’ Roses.

On Friday, May 15, Desintegrados Acoustic & Full Band will take the stage. Considered one of Mexico’s top Cure tributes, the group will perform classics such as “Just Like Heaven,” “Friday I’m in Love,” “Boys Don’t Cry,” and “Lovesong,” capturing the melancholic yet powerful atmosphere that made Robert Smith’s band an icon of the 1980s and alternative rock.

The following night, Saturday, May 16, Mr. Brownstone will travel from Merida to deliver a high-energy homage to Guns N’ Roses. The band is known for faithfully recreating the intensity of late-80s and early-90s concerts, with hits like “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” “Welcome to the Jungle,” “Paradise City,” and “November Rain.”

Route 666 Bikers Bar has become a favorite venue for Cancun’s rock scene, offering an authentic atmosphere for music lovers. Both concerts are free and open to the public, with no cover charge.
