The Quintana Roo State Mobility Institute (Imoveqroo) in Chetumal, Mexico, has announced it will temporarily suspend the issuance of licenses on January 6th and 7th. This brief hiatus is due to a scheduled system update, according to a statement released by the institute on its social media platforms.

The state agency has assured the public that normal operations will resume on January 8th, with office hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Imoveqroo has requested citizens to be understanding of any inconvenience this short suspension may cause.

Details about the system update were not disclosed by Imoveqroo. This update comes shortly after the institute resumed its standard operations following the December holiday break.
